Alzheimer's Research UK needs you to join our army of volunteers across the Yorkshire region, helping to raise vital funds and awareness for dementia research.

Our fabulous Fundraising Groups help us reach further into local communities and act as on-the-ground ambassadors for Alzheimer's Research UK. More »

We need enthusiastic volunteers to be part of our new and exciting South East Leeds Fundraising Group and help with a wide range of volunteering roles within the group.

The groups organise local events such as coffee mornings, concerts and supermarket collections, plus they place and maintain collecting tins in local shops, raise awareness locally through encouraging businesses, clubs, community groups, schools and other individuals to support the charity too!

Dementia is our greatest medical challenge and today there are no survivors. But research can change that.

Our scientists are already making incredible discoveries and with your support, we can turn those discoveries into life-changing preventions and treatments.

With you and our Fundraising Groups by our side, we can make breakthroughs possible.

Annual Governance and Accountability Return - 2017/2018

Ledsham Parish Council has completed its annual governance and accountability return (AGAR) for the financial year ending 31st March 2018.

The notice of public rights relating to the return can be found below with the period for the exercise of public rights running from 27th June 2018 to 7th August 2018. A summary of public rights can also be found in the documents section of the website.

An election to Ledsham Parish Council took place on Thursday 7th May 2015. Eight candidates stood for seven seats on the Council and the result was:

Chris Woodall - 97 votes (elected)

Barry Bennett - 91 votes (elected)

Tony Knight - 86 votes (elected)

Audrey Taylor - 86 votes (elected)

Lynda Goodall - 76 votes (elected)

Emma Broughton - 73 votes (elected)

Margaret Wright - 62 votes (elected)

Chris McHale -59 votes
